CCE SUPERBOWL OF MOTORSPORTS

The 2005 season rolled on as the monsters came once again to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida. CCE always packs the fans in at thie venue, and this year was not short of excitement. Lets meet the field:

GRAVE DIGGER XIX
Dennis Anderson
Anderson came to Tampa looking to take the racing and freestyle titles after having a mediocre weeks in Atlanta and New Orleans.

MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION
Tom Meents
Neil Elliott lost to Digger in the finals of the 2004 Tampa show driving Maximum Destruction, then rolled early and got an 11 in freestyle. Tom was looking to avenge last years embarrasment by coming back down and trying to sweep the event.

MADUSA
Debra "Madusa" Micelli
Madusa took a 3-way 2nd place tie with Lupe Sosa and Rick Raab in last years Tampa freestyle, this year Madusa coming in as the world freestyle champion wanted to keep it on all fours in racing, as she rolled facing Digger in last year's semi-finals.

SUPERMAN
Chad Fortune
After an impressive debut in Atlanta and a strong run in New Orleans, Chad fortune was flying his cape proud as he made his first appearance at Raymond James Stadium.

GUN SLINGER
Scott Hartsock
Pressure was on the Florida boy after three consecutive somewhat lackluster performances from the three previous Tampa shows. Scott wanted a win and he wanted a win, bad!

OBSESSION
Glenn Logan Jr.
Talk about being thrown in the deep end for your rookie debut show. Glenn had a lot on his shoulders tonight, we'll see if he can handle it.

PREDATOR
Allen Pezo
After and illusive Monster Jam TV win in Atlanta, Allen Pezo came in with confidence to spare as he looked to impress the Florida crowd.

PROWLER
Larry Jarzel
Jarzel qualified 2nd last year behind Anderson for the racing before getting knocked out in Round 2, Jarzel looked to duplicate his stellar performance from last year.

HOT WHEELS
Guy Wood
Wood is starting to get better adjusted to his new Meents style chassis, Guy blasted through a motorhome in Tampa in '03, we'll see what he has for '05.

TRAXXAS T-MAXX
John Seasock
After a good run in Houston but a violent roll in New Orleans, John is still trying to gain valuable seat time with his new chassis.

REPTOID
Jim Jack
Consistancy is tha name of the game for Jim Jack. Always does well in racing, always keep it on all fours in freestyle. We'll see what Jim can do with the new skin on the truck.

AMERICAN GUARDIAN
Rick Raab
After a great 2nd place run in Pontiac, Raab made his 2nd trip down to Florida to try and equal his 2nd place finish in freestyle he had here last year.
