Miroku opens the vortex in his and, and it draws everything in in its path. He seals it with the rosary on his arm. However, it can't be used much due to the siamyosho's poison, and they are always near naraku related enemys.

Peices of paper with wat looks like japanize handwriting, that can do a multiplitude of things, including killing demons, sealing demons, or putting up a barrier.

Miroku may not be that good at being a monk, but he does have spiritual powers, henceforth, he can erect a holy barrier.
