AKon Licenses
FUNimation announced at AKon that they have acquired the license for Gunslinger Girl (TV). Meanwhile, ADV announced the licenses for Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch, Sakigake!! Cromartie High, and E's Otherwise.
It's about time for Gunslinger Girl to come out.
But might they have waited a couple weeks to announce this? I was just about to check out Cromartie High this weekend.
Anyways I liked the original E’s anime.
And before I got the chance to see E’s Otherwise, the synopsis made me think it might have been something I’d enjoy. But it was only borderline good.
Yes, it was only borderline good in my opinion. I stopped watching at about episode 17. It was getting kind of boring. Anyway I never saw this Cromartie, but I like comedy anime, so I'll probably buy the DVDs. I'm still working on finishing up my Abenobashi box set. Still 2 DVDs left to go! Man, I really need to get me a REAL job.
