Gunbuster 2 details
According to Moon Phase, Gainax formally proclaimed features concerning the future manufacture of Gunbuster 2 at the past's Gainax Festival 20th Anniversary press meeting.
According to Moon Phase the gone after voice performers will have roles in Gunbuster 2:
Yukari Fukui will play Nono;
Maaya Sakamoto will play Raruku;
Miyuki Sawashiro will play Chiko;
Mitsuo Iwata will play Nicola;
Takumi Yamazaki will play the new Coach.
Grave signs that Gainax was diagramming a follow-up to Gunbuster, the length of a follow-up to The Wings of Honneamise, came out at the 40th Annual Japanese Science Fiction Convention in August 2002.
The unique Gunbuster by now has a certified American DVD gone.
This is great news. Concerns arose 2 years ago when reports were spread about Gainax perhaps diagramming a follow-up to Gunbuster.
Honneamise doesn't actually need a follow-up though.

FLCL + Mahoromatic = Gunbuster 2? Nooooo! Now the follow-up to Honneamise will almost certainly look like a cross flanked by NGE and Ebichu. ><
Well, the unique Gunbuster WAS optimized to suit the tastes of yesterday's otaku, and I guess Gunbuster 2 will be optimized to suit the tastes of today's otaku.
But Gunbuster is a typical anime that everybody, new and old, should watch. It stands unaccompanied, and Gunbuster 2 is a charade in the works!
