More on Gunbuster 2
According to this month's subject of Newtype Japan, the first quantity of Gunbuster 2 will be free this Autumn (September 24th according to Moon Phase), and will be six incidents, with following incidents approaching out each next month.
I have to post on the outrage that is leaving to be Top O Nerae! 2. I am perhaps the main otaku this side of the United States, but this is amazing I'm not sure even I'm leaving to want to watch.
There was a mistake in my last post about a DVD let go of Gunbuster that has been. There is merely one lawful DVD let go, and that is Gainax's set, which has no subtitles.
Gunbuster is a sixteen year old sequence. It comes from a time when a dissimilar method from todays was obtainable. Face it, Gunbuster is great, but since the follow-up comes now, it will be done with today's skill.
If the old Gunbuster had flopped as much as the new one looks it will, there wouldn't be any Gunbuster well-liked sufficient here for me to be language of.
Wait a miniature... Gunbuster WASN'T all that well-liked!!! At Fanime last year, there were very few populaces at Gainax's booth who were there since of Gunbuster. A Gunbuster follow-up is a true risk on Gainax's part. If Gunbuster doesn't have that much of a fan base in the first place, how the hell would a follow-up estrange it?
That brings me to this query: Does Gunbuster need a follow-up?
The UK copy illegally let go of Gunbuster by Kiseki is Region 0 so it will work wherever. Bootleggers are small corporations so it's easier and cheaper for them to make Region 0s.
I doubt Gunbuster 2 will last long.
Gunbuster 2 won't make me less content surveillance the first series, but I hoped for the strength of the unique to make it through.

Gunbuster's a hard act to go after, particularly with out Anno at the helm. Maybe it comes into view they're leaving the route of fan repair, but Gunbuster created the "Gainax Bounce" so who knows. Perhaps Gunbuster 2 will be the next in line for the "Gainax Bounce".
