Welcome to the Highlander Fansite!

Conner and Duncan

I became a huge Highlander fan thanks to the TV Series. This happened by mistake when I came across an episode while viewing a tape a friend loaned me of the Sci-Fi Channel. I was watching Babylon 5 Episodes of a Role Playing Game my friends were working on.

I stumbled across an episode of the show. I had seen the first movie several years earlier but knew nothing of the series or subsequent movies. The episode was called, Line of Fire (the second episode of the third season). In the episode Ritchie is confronted by an ex-girlfriend who says he is the father of her son. Ritchie wants to believe that it is true even though Duncan reminds him it is not possible. Kern, an evil immortal, shows up in town. He was a scout for the US Soldiers who massacred a tribe of Sioux Indians that Duncan was living with 100 years ago.

I wasn't a fan at first, I loved the flashback because I enjoy history. An the fight scenes were well done. (I have been in the martial arts for several years and the work in this area is awesome.)  But I didn't like this Scottish Highlander who was a Native American. I didn't understand at that time, but I did realize later that living for such a long time you would become hundreds of different people. I have since then seen every episode and own them all. I have a vast collection of Highlander merchandise ranging from videos to hair ties.  I have also created character classes based off of Highlander for Rifts and Heroes Unlimited Role Playing games. And Speaking of Games, I own all of the first set of the Highlander: The Series Cards for the collectible card game.
