The illustrations are amusing, the rhymes are fun and don't grate on an adult's nerves, and the over all message of the book - going to bed - is always appreciated by a parent trying to get his/her children to sleep. Even my 4 and 6 year old enjoy reading along when I read it to my youngest. A whole family hit!!
