Making something of a change of pace for Bergman, this blackly farcical expose takes a potshot at the world of artists and critics, and focuses on the tension between the roles of a self-opinionated critic, Cornelius, and a talented, egocentric musician, Felix. Felix, a womanising cellist, uses his musical prowess to charm an endless string of female admirers. However, when Cornelius, a respected critic, arrives to write a biography on Felix, he finds his efforts hampered by all the females in the house - each one determined to protect their maestro's privacy. For Cornelius, the situation becomes increasing humiliating as he is photographed in comprising positions, forced to dress in women's clothes, and is even bombarded with fireworks. But the final insult is that he never actually gets to meet Felix. Featuring two of his leading ladies, Harriet Andersson and Bibi Andersson, ALL THESE WOMEN is a film that clearly demonstrates that the Bergman can be enchanting and amusing without losing his familiar melancholic air.

The events that transpire slowly convince Harker that he is in the midst of a vampyre. What he doesn't know, however, is the magnitude of danger he, his wife and his town are about to experience as victims of the Nosferatu.

Immediately following Rossini's death in 1868, Verdi wrote to the publisher Ricordi, To honour Rossini's memory, I would very much like the best composers in Italy to write a requiem mass, which should be performed on the anniversary of Rossini's death. Verdi's noble plan required each of the composers to contribute a movement, to be performed on the anniversary of Rossini's death in the church of San Petronio in Bologna. All was prepared for performance but the political and cultural climate in the newly-unified Italy led to the project being abandoned. The music remained in the vaults of Casa Ricordi until 1986 when the Messa per Rossini was rediscovered. The work was recreated and the public world premiere held in September 1988 as the closing performance at the European Music Festival in Stuttgart, conducted by Professor Helmuth Rilling. This is a recording of the event, which took place at the Evangelische Stadkirche in Ellwangen, Wurttemberg. The soloists are: Gabriela Be-a-kova, Florence Quivar, James Wagner, Alexandru Agache and Aage Haugland. Professor Rilling conducts the Gachinger Kantorei Stuttgart, the Prague Philharmonia Choir, and the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra.
