Anzu: The Memory Tablet... So we're back to our own world...

Atem: Yes.

Malik: Then our duty as the grave-watcher clan is over?

Ishizu: Yes. The seven Millennium Items have been gathered. What's left is...

Anzu: Sealed...

Anzu: I know, but- but does that mean that your soul has to go to the land of the dead?

[Gestures his head in Anzu's direction.]

Ishizu: In ancient Egypt, it was believed that a ship was used to send the pharaoh to the land of the dead.

Anzu: The land of the dead...

Ishizu: This land of the dead lead to the actual underworld. Though now the ship probably has no meaning.

Jiichan: Oi~ Yugi~~ Here, Here!!

Jounouchi: Otogi?

Honda: Mokuba, too.

Otogi: You guys are late!

Mokuba: Niisama!

[Jumps and puts his arms around Kaiba's neck.]

Kaiba: Mokuba.

Otogi: We almost thought that we had traveled to the wrong place.

Yugi: Why are you here?

Jiichan: Well, I thought "why didn't I go to Egypt with them" and that there was no way I couldn't come.

Otogi: I wanted to come and meet you guys. And since you guys were here, I came with him. Then, along the way, we met with Mokuba.

[A lot of people are shown looking at the sky.]

[Everyone's on the boat. It's sunset.]

Yugi: It's pretty, but I find of feel sad.

Anzu: Yugi.

Jounouchi: By the way, why did you guys come?

Mokuba: It's all right, isn't it? Right, Niisama?

Yugi: Kaiba-kun.

Ishizu: He wants to see what happens with his own eyes as one who was guided by destiny.

[Boat whistle sounds.]

Jounouchi: Hey, Yugi. Do you remember? We went on a boat like this on the way to Duelist Kingdom.

Yugi: Un.

Jounouchi: Yugi, can you listen to my wish?

Yugi: Hm?

Jounouchi: Let's throw the Millennium Items in the bag into the sea.

Yugi: Eh~?!

Anzu, Honda, & Otogi: Huh?

Jounouchi: Just kidding!! A joke, a joke!

Yugi: Jounouchi-kun!

Jounouchi: Alrighty, I've decided! I'm going to be the one to duel Atem!

Yugi: Jounouchi-kun~

Anzu: Jounouchi!

Otogi: Don't be reckless!

Jounouchi: And what am I being reckless about? Our battle, is also his-

Kaiba: It shouldn't be you, Bonkotsu.

Jounouchi: Kaiba!

Kaiba: If this is really the end, I'm going to return his favor; I will be the one to dismiss him from this world!

[Jounouchi runs out, arms outstretched, in between Kaiba and Yugi.]

Jounouchi: Kaiba, you bastard~ I've already-

[Kaiba shoves Jounouchi aside.]

Jounouchi: Asshole!!

[Jounouchi comes back at him, only to run into Kaiba's hand.]

Kaiba: I came here in order to settle our- me and the other Yugi's- battle! This time, I'll be the winner!

Yugi: Kaiba-kun. Yeah, I know.

[Jounouchi is no longer being shoved away by Kaiba.]

Yugi: You and the other me have been fighting each other for quite a while.

Kaiba: Humph. Then it's settled.

Yugi: But I'm sorry. I'm going to fight... against the other me.

Kaiba: What?!

Jounouchi: Yugi!

Yugi: For some reason, I can't hand over this task to anyone.

Jounouchi: I understand.

[Puts hand on Yugi's shoulder.]

Jounouchi: It's what you decided.

Yugi: Jounouchi-kun.

Kaiba: Bullshit!

[Grabs Yugi by the... collar.]

[He tries to get Kaiba to unhand Yugi.]

[Kaiba drops Yugi.]

Jounouchi: Damn. Yugi!

Kaiba: Mokuba.

Jounouchi: Kaiba, you bastard!

Kaiba: Yugi. Use these cards to fight with him. This is a perfectly made deck.

Yugi: Thank you, Kaiba-kun. But, I don't need that.

Kaiba: What?!

Yugi: The deck that the other me has used to battle with in the past was made by the two of us with our own cards.

Jounouchi: Yugi.

Kaiba: Then win.

Mokuba: Aahh-- Hold up, Niisama!

Yugi: Kaiba-kun.

[Later on, people are in their rooms.]

Yugi: Yes?

Anzu: Sorry, can I come in for a while?

Yugi: Anzu? Yeah. What is it?

Anzu: Ishizu said that we were going to start tomorrow morning...

Yugi: Is that so...

Anzu: So you're really going to fight... with the other Yugi, hm?

Yugi: Un. This is the last thing that I can do for the other me.

Anzu: That's- Did the other Yugi say anything?

Yugi: Nope, he hasn't appeared at all. That's probably because I'm making my deck.

Anzu: Yeah.

Anzu: Be prepared. Both of you.

Yugi: Anzu?

[Anzu leaves.]

Yugi: Anzu. You came here to see the other me. I'm sorry.

[Just outside of Yugi's room.]

Anzu: The other Yugi is- Atem is not from this time. He came from somewhere else. I can’t follow you.

[Back in the room.]

Yugi: Jiichan had the unassembled pieces of the Millennium Puzzle. Then, after eight years came that day that I finished solving it.

[Flashback]

Yugi: Uwahh--

[/Flashback]

Yugi: You came into my heart that day, and then we were always together. As long as you were with me, I had courage. I think that I've slowly become stronger because of that. That's why now, for you, I'll use all my power.

[On the deck.]

Honda: Jounouchi. Are you alright with this?

Otogi: This is your last chance to battle the other Yugi-kun.

Jounouchi: I... don't have to. I should go back to being a student. But, y'know, I don't feel like stopping. A duel with the other Yugi really would be fun. I've become strong. He's always been my goal.

Honda: Jounouchi.

Jounouchi: And so... I want for his wish to come true. His opponent should be no one but Yugi.

Honda: Yah.

Otogi: That's true.

[In Kaiba & Mokuba's room.]

Kaiba: The Gods will probably be used in this duel. How will you fight, Yugi? Do you really intend to defeat god and win?

[Back in Yugi's room.]

Yugi: Up to now, the other me and I have made our deck together. But this is my deck, the deck to fight against him.

[Time passes.]

Yugi: Done!

[He sighs.]

[Atem appears (transparent).]

Atem: Have you finished your deck? Aibou.

Yugi: Other me. So you were waiting until I finished.

Atem: Yeah. I didn't want to see my opponent's deck. Thank you, for taking on my final trial.

Yugi: Un. I will use all the strength in me to battle you.

Atem: Yeah!

Yugi: Well~ it's your turn to make your deck! I'm just saying, but I know it's weak-points. My new deck contains ways to defeat it. You might get hurt if you think it'll be easy~ Well then, I'll be inside.

[Puzzle glows and they switch places.]

['Inside'.]

Yugi: The truth is... I don't want to battle you. But the way it is now, there's no way that you'll ever be able to go on. From my heart, to defeat you, is my duty. There isn't much time left. I want to be talking to you right now. But... the thing left to a duelist who chooses to fight is only silence.

[Back to Atem.]

Atem: I've battle many opponents... but this will be the most severe battle. The Battle Ceremony. My partner has chosen to fight the battle to settle my destiny. This battle is not only for me... Sealed inside this box is the deck that he put his heart into. Aibou! I, too, will put all my heart in and make a deck!

[Time passes.]

Atem: Done! My ultimate deck. My destiny will be decided in this battle. Win and stay here, or lose and go towards the future! Let's fight, Aibou!

[It’s morning. Atem's stepping out of the boat.]

Jounouchi: You're late, Yugi.

Atem: You guys...

Anzu: Yugi...

Jounouchi: Come on, let's go.

Atem: Okay!
