Player Eligibility
The player eligibility rules in the ISL's Arizona Fall League are pretty simple.

Each ISL organization is required to supply 6 players to each team (3 batters and 3 pitchers). Who goes to what team is broken down in the team section. The Pittsburgh Pirates will join the AL West and send its players to the Maryvale Saguaros (giving each team 30 players 6x5).

  • All Triple-A, Double-A, and Single-A players are eligible, just remember, Single-A players will probably not help the team as much.
  • Any player that is under the 172 days of major league service is eligible.
  • No players that are hurt at the end of the season (for more than 3 weeks) can play.
  • A player is allowed to play in the Fall League a MAX of 3 years.

 

Benefits
There are great benefits for sending a prospect to the Arizona Fall League. Players sent can improve their ratings, but not their talent. For each win their Fall League team gets, the teams that form it receive 2 pts to be used to develop their players.. After the season, each player will have the total number of points available to the owner. If a player gets hurt during the fall season, he will not receive the points until he remains healthy again. You can use the points they accumulate to bolster that player's ratings. However, you are only allowed to bolster a rating a max of 10 points each season. All points must be used up before the start of the ISL season. Here is the ratings you may add points to:

  • Gap power vs RHP
  • Homeruns vs LHP
  • Homeruns vs RHP
  • Eye vs LHP
  • Eye vs RHP
  • SO vs LHP
  • SO vs RHP
  • Stuff vs LHB
  • Stuff vs RHB
  • Movement vs LHB
  • Movement vs RHB
  • Control vs LHB
  • Control vs RHB

THE FOLLOWING RATINGS CAN ONLY HAVE A MAX OF 2 POINTS ISSUED TO THEM:

  • Defense Range
  • Defense Arm
  • Speed
  • Stealing
  • Baserunning
  • Holding Runners
  • Endurance

Bonus Points

Being voted top hitting prospect in the league- 10 bonus points plus $500,000 to his ISL team
Being voted top pitching prospect in the league - 10 bonus points plus $500,000 to his ISL team

A player can only receive a max of 35 points per season.

The team that wins the Arizona Fall League championship will give each team in that division $1,000,000 cash plus a 3 point increase in fan interest.
