Peoria Claims 2005 AFL Championship

The Western Division of the Arizona Fall League claims its second title in just two years. Following Maryvale's footsteps, Peoria claimed the 2005 AFL Championship also by beating now two time Eastern Division Champion, Phoenix. Grand Canyon's Justin Hampson claimed Pitcher of the Year honors, while Mesa's Corey Hart claimed the Batter of the Year award. Peoria won the 3 game series 2 games to 1.
