Hatori: I don’t know what you’re trying to say. Feelings like those……would have nothing to do with me.
Mayu: What……are you saying? What are you saying, Hatori-kun? (thinks) It can’t be true. What is it that’s still……eating into him so much? I don’t know…I just don’t know. Of course I want to find my own happiness……but thinking about him won’t make that happen. It won’t change anything, so why?(says) It’s not true, is it…? The sky is so blue……the water is sparkling so brightly…everyone is laughing so happily! So it can’t be true, Hatori-kun! That you can’t be happy…it can’t be true!! If it is, I won’t believe! I won’t believe in anything!!
Hatori: You’re not making any sense…
Mayu: I don’t care!! I don’t care…I don’t……care anymore! (thinks) Help…please……release him. I’m begging…with utmost selfishness…be happy! *She bursts out crying*
