the explanation
Due to HostUltra being stupid, a few weeks back, my entire site was destroyed, along with the "content." Although I have everything backed up, I don't think I'll be bringing MINDTHRASHER.VZE.COM back. There was never really a point to anything. The site didn't have a theme to base everything on. It was just a place that I could call mine. It allowed me to say that I, myself, built it from scratch. So, I guess this is fate. Just when I had given up and was deciding on whether or not to close the site down or let it float around aimlessly on the internet, it happened. My problem was solved, without my asking for it. It just blew up and disappeared.

reminiscance
It all started when I was 12 years old in the Summer of 2003, back on KBC. After making it through the storm, I received my very own tag-board. Soon, everyone was getting their own tag-board. So, I started my very first website on Angelfire. There, I made my site the hub for tag-board links. But then, things like zonk boards and dekap boards started popping up. It was too much and things were dying down. So, I started building up my site in another direction. I personally typed up lyrics straight out of the CD booklets. I even remember when the new school year began (7th grade), I was so excited about my site that I was writing up my "About Me" section on paper! What a thrill. Soon, Angelfire wasn't good enough. There were just too many pop-ups and ads littered everywhere, so I was constantly moving. Geocities. Freeservers. Of course, there were many others as well. I must have signed up for about 20 accounts, in search for a reliable, banner-ad-free server. Finally, I signed up for HostUltra. The years have surprisingly passed by very quickly and eventually, all that is left is nothing. I'm proud to say that MINDTHRASHER.VZE.COM made it through seven layouts over the past four years. To some, it may not sound like a lot, but to me, it is.

It is now Wednesday, April 11, 2007. I am 16 years old. I'd like to thank my friends and visitors for sticking around over the years. I think it's about time to say good-bye. :[
