The action started even before qualifing during the intros. Maximum Destruction came out and did a sky wheelie over the red/yellow set of cars, then Digger came out and did the same thing while Max D hit the blue/white set of cars on the far side. The trucks chased each other around the arena doing sky wheelies and then started to donut together but were far too close and the left front wheel of Digger smacked into Maximum Destrucion, causing the rim to bend and the tire to go flat. Digger ran back into the pits and his qualifing round matchup was dropped to the end of the bracket.

Obsession (Near) Vs. Madusa (Far) Both trucks made a great first jump, but Logan was impressive going into the first corner as Madusa ripped around the corners. Logan hit the far side set of cars and then died on the track as Madusa completed her pass. Obsession was able to refire and move off the track under its own power but recieved a DNF for his run.




Gun Slinger (Near) Vs. T-Maxx (Far) This promised to be a good matchup as these trucks battled it out together on the small bullring chicago-style track in Brooksville just weeks earlier. The two trucks were even off the line, through the first corner and over the first jump, around the final corner and over the final set still dead even! Gun Slinger just gets ahead of T-Maxx for the better qualifing spot.



American Guardian (Near) Vs. Prowler (Far) Off the line the trucks were even and stayed that way until the final corner when Jarzel slips up and Raab has a grat corner, but smoke starts to pour out of the engine as the truck goes for the final ramp and gets way out of shape on the ram and crosses the line sideways in the air and comes down hard on the left front!



Maximum Destruction (Near) Vs. Reptoid (Far) Meents and Jack pulled to the line next. Remember last time these two ran in Florida against each other (Jacksonville Round 1 of '04) Jack got the better of Meents. Not so on this qualifing run as Meents lays down the #1 qualifing spot with a sub-19 sec. run.



Superman (Near) Vs. Predator (Far) A rematch of the Atlanta final round in qualifing at Tampa. Off the line its even once again and stays even over the second set of cars but Chad makes an incredible corner and powers over the finish line to grab a great qualifing time.



Grave Digger XIX (Near) Vs. Hot Wheels (Far) Digger came roaring out of the tunnel with an old rim and an inflated tire on the left front in time for qualifing. Anderson didn't let his intro tangle effect him at all, in fact it was Wood with the problems as he hit a turning pole for a 5 second penalty. Meanwhile Anderson flies across the line to clock in the 2nd fastest time.
